I made myself a version of the nautical bag. Let’s call this one a nautical sack. It is huge. Really. It is bigger than I need, but that means I have more room to carry extra stuff! It is surprisingly not that heavy to carry around either.
I thought I would show you why I need such an enormous bag these days.
That would be: wallet, zip bag of medicines, zip bag of makeup, glasses, invisalign case, toothbrush and toothpaste, notebook, pens, lotion, deodorant, rescue remedy, blister block, sanitizer, nail polish, rosebud salve, mirror, tissues, phone, sunglasses, coupons, work badge, flash drive, keys, change purse, and gum. Whew!
It all fits with plenty of room to spare–in case I need to also carry these things:
My drink and Kaylee’s snack, drink, and sunglasses.
And here it is! I still need to work on my designs a bit, but I like having functional prototypes.
I also made Kaylee a bag. Her’s is a simple little Strawberry Shortcake bag made with vintage fabric. She spends a lot of time putting little things in it and wearing it around. She is so tough to get a photo of though because she never sits still!
